
	Multi-Agency Communications Cooperation: California Department of Homeland Security Understanding the need for more effective multi-agency and organization-wide emergency communications preparation, the Consortium helped the California Department of Homeland Security continue its Golden Guardian 2006 statewide exercise series with a skills-based risk communications workshop. The two-day training and tabletop exercise gave representatives from a variety of California agencies the opportunity to learn and practice practical emergency communications skills and to take part in a facilitated tabletop discussion on improving multi-organization cooperation and strategy in emergency communications preparedness.
