Widmeyer Welcomes Higher Education Expert Robert Dickeson and Media Strategist Andrew Weinstein as Senior Counsels
WASHINGTON, DC - Widmeyer Communications recently announced the addition of higher education expert Dr. Robert C. Dickeson and senior media strategist Andrew Weinstein as Senior Counsels to the firm.

Dickeson is a long-time leader in higher education, philanthropy, policy, research and institutional management. Previously, Dickeson was senior vice president for policy and organizational learning at the Lumina Foundation for Education. He has also served as senior vice president at USA Group, president and CEO of Noel-Levitz Centers, president of the University of Northern Colorado, cabinet chair for Arizona Governor Bruce Babbitt and as chief of staff to Colorado Governor Roy Romer, among others. During 2006, Dickeson served as senior policy adviser to the Spellings Commission on the Future of Higher Education.
Weinstein has more than twenty years experience in media relations, crisis communications and public policy strategy. Most recently, he was Vice President and Chief Spokesperson at AOL, where he served as the company’s top media strategist during a period of transformational change. In addition to having worked for Widmeyer, Weinstein also served as director of media relations for Bob Dole’s presidential campaign and as deputy press secretary for former House Speaker Newt Gingrich.
