
	Risk Communication for an Anthrax Attack: National Capital Region's Cities Readiness Initiative The Consortium helped the NCR’s Cities Readiness Initiative (CRI)—a program to prepare urban areas for an airborne anthrax attack—with the public messaging component of the CRI plan. The Consortium, using qualitative and quantitative research, as well as the input of the NCR CRI working group, created model news releases, fact sheets, text alerts, FAQs, directives, public service announcements, and a risk communications model that can be used and adapted by each jurisdiction of the NCR.
