Widmeyer SVP and Public Opinion Expert Doug Usher Nominated to Serve on Homeland Security Institute Expert Panel
Widmeyer Senior Vice President and Director of Research and Polling Doug Usher was recently nominated to serve on an expert panel for the Homeland Security Institute (HIS), the research arm of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The panel’s main focus is to evaluate how the public might accept new security technologies currently under consideration by the DHS. Other panel members include former Members of Congress, a former Governor, and medical and legal experts. Usher is part of the panel’s standing core group but specific subject experts are brought in for each meeting.
