Senior Writer - VP Level
Widmeyer Communications seeks an exceptionally talented and nimble writer who will serve as a key team member on high profile accounts involving major corporations, trade associations and coalitions. This individual will be imbedded into client work and will be a senior and valued member of the account team. The position will provide clients with highly polished and professional creative deliverables including op-eds, executive visibility programs, speeches, advertising copy, letters to the editor, web site content, etc.
The successful individual will be someone who thrives on deadline, consistently produces can’t-put-this-down product and has a truly creative mindset. The ability to communicate an idea in compelling language and with clarity of thought is essential as is a firm understanding of communications programs in the legislative and regulatory environments.
The successful candidate will have worked for an agency, as in-house writer for a leading corporation or as a senior speechwriter for prominent figures. This is also someone who wants his or her writing to be recognized as a vital component of a successful communications program – not an afterthought.
