Widmeyer Communications Welcomes
Higher Ed Veteran Terry Abramson
WASHINGTON, DC-Widmeyer Communications recently announced the appointment of Terry Abramson, who will serve as vice president, working with Widmeyer Higher Education Solutions.
Abramson has spent the majority of her career working at universities around the country. Most recently, Abramson served as a consultant for the University of Maryland's Office of Professional Studies where she conducted market research and analysis and served as liaison between faculty and outside partners in educational program development and training. Prior to working at the University of Maryland, Abramson served as manager of educational program development at George Washington University's Center of Professional Development and served as a consultant for other higher educational institutions such as The University of Phoenix.

Abramson comes to Widmeyer from APCO Worldwide in Washington, DC, where she was Director of Business Development for North America. At APCO, Abramson led efforts to identify and maximize new business opportunities for North America.
In addition to Abramson's successful endeavors outside of the classroom, she has also served as an adjunct faculty member at Mesa Community College, Montgomery College and Strayer Online.
Abramson will be working out of Widmeyer's DC office. She has a master's degree in Social Work (Administration and Planning) from Arizona State University and a bachelor's degree in English from Emory University.
