It’s a new day in the nation’s capital as Democrats take over in Congress, eager to get down to business and with more than a few predictably conflicted post- election post-mortems framing their understandable enthusiasm.
Either the new Democrats are “a crop of conservative [s] and moderates,” as CNN said, or they are “pretty conventional [liberal] Democrats,” as political analyst Stu Rothenberg asserted.

Among them, Hecla Mining Company tapped the Consortium for Risk and Crisis Communication (comprised of Widmeyer and the Center for Risk Communication) to fine-tune communication policies and procedures in the event of a mining emergency.
